Abstract
This chapter introduces the popular packages for CGE modelling, namely, General Equilibrium Model Package (GEMPACK) and General Algebraic Modelling System (GAMS). Due to the relative simplicity of using GEMPACK, this chapter illustrates how to use this package to create a CGE model and how to conduct a CGE simulation. The step-by-step description together with the graph illustration guides a beginner to gain the skills in using GEMPACK.
