    The transverse impact parameter of a track is defined as the distance of closest approach to the reference point in r-\(\phi \) plane.

  2. 2.

    An MVA identifies well reconstructed physics objects (or a signal process) based on a set of probability distributions. These are derived from the simulation of its input observables.

    The efficiencies to reconstruct electron candidates without imposing further quality criteria is well described by the simulation [13].
