Abstract

The studies contained in this book were performed on patients of the Reproductive Endocrine Unit of the 2nd Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Semmelweis University. All studies conformed to the directives of the Helsinki Declaration and informed consent of patients was obtained. The studies were part of the high-priority ministerial scientific issue of the Department. The clinical and hormonal features of patients and control groups in the studies within each chapter will be described in detail in the corresponding chapters.
