Abstract
As a patient crisis develops, its outcome is significantly affected by the delivery of safe, accurate, and timely emergency care. Although the response of the medical personnel team is essential, without prompt access to equipment, medications, and supplies, it can lead to consequences which lead to a negative result. A quality rapid response team should develop a program where equipment, medication, and supplies are incorporated into the process.
Ultimately, not only are the personnel and resources an important component of the RRT, but the competency, training, and understanding of the tools available to them becomes imperative to improve patient safety and deliver successful outcomes. Therefore, a process for systematic review should also be incorporated into the RRT methodology.
