Synopsis
Based on an interpretation of the history of human thinking as a succession of periods alternating objectivism and subjectivism, the author proposes ultramodern family therapy as a kind of dialectic overcoming of postmodern supremacy in the field. Complex love, understood as relational nurturing, becomes the core of psychological development, preceding language in a so precious role, and the therapist goes beyond the non-expert position to become responsible and intelligent in his/her interventions.
