Abstract

Looking back at my long career in education has been a daunting task. For each detail I incuded here several other stories emerged which made me laugh, become angry again, or sigh with regret. How we learn influences how we teach, and this story reveals that from my generational perspective. Teaching has been the heart of it all, and continual learning made it a challenging journey. Mentoring, being mentored, learning from others, and sharing that knowledge has given me joy, and I am grateful to mentors and students alike for the experiences.
