Abstract

Traffic incidents usually imply a great amount of data regarding them. Currently there is a lack of software that can be regarded as efficient incident management visualization. Most incident management systems’ structures make the estimation of the actual road conditions an arduous task. It requires traffic operator to navigate through many tables, graphs, and maps to start getting a sense how to manage an incident, which is time consuming and not always correct. The emphasis is usually on data records, with less consideration given to ability for reviewing. Existing tools have proven to be not sufficiently applicable to simplify this task.
