Abstract

Uretero ureterostomy is performed for various pathologies like retrocaval ureter, stricture, malignant lesions etc. Though many reports on the laparoscopic management of retrocaval ureter are available, there are very few reports on ureteric stricture management by laparoscopic approach. According to Gill et al. who broadly classified laparoscopic reconstructive urology, ureteroureterostomy still falls under evolving procedure group. The technique varies slightly for various diseases.
