This chapter traces the ongms and history of the New Scholars Committee (NSC), showing how the committee has become a significant contributor to the growth of the Comparative and International Education Society (CIES). The NSC’s overarching goal is to support and engage graduate students and professionals and to develop future leaders within the field of Comparative and International Education (CIE).
