Abstract
In Chaps. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, a description of contemporary insights in the philosophy of technology has been presented. This is what philosophers say technology is. But how about non-philosophers? What perception of technology do they hold? For education we are particularly interested in students’ ideas about what technology is. It is also interesting, though, to compare their views on technology with those that we find among the general public. That is what this chapter is about.
