Abstract
This chapter is about the considerations and pitfalls when analyzing a lightcurve to find the one or more periods it represents along with the amplitude associated with each period. I will again use MPO Canopus to demonstrate the basics. There are, of course, other period analysis and lightcurve plotting programs available.
