Abstract

We demonstrate that \(2 \rightarrow 3\) processes with large recoil momenta are described by triangle diagrams with the main contributions determined by their anomalous singularities. This enables us to obtain analytical expressions for the differential distributions and for the cross sections. The transfer of large momentum between the electron and the nucleus or between electrons is related to the small values of the corresponding distances, where the shape of the wave functions is determined by the Kato cusp conditions . We explain the importance of the latter and construct the electron wave functions on the coalescence lines.
