Abstract

Taking clinical photographs is an essential component of patient care in dermatology. Photographs of physical and dermatological findings should be an essential routine procedure in (pediatric) dermatology. It should always be conducted before taking a biopsy. It is primarily meant to be a diagnostic tool in order to document the presence or absence of visible physical dermatological findings.
