Abstract
Sections 8.2–8.9 may be useful as a reference for scientists, and in particular, applied mathematicians and engineers, working in the fields of Newtonian fluid dynamics, especially in the areas of modelling, simulation, and numerical computations of fluid flow phenomena. This chapter should also prove to be of interest to individual applied mathematicians working in the areas of physics and mathematics.
