Abstract

This chapter discusses examples of neutrophilic dermatoses and panniculitides, which represent a spectrum of non-infectious inflammatory conditions of the epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. They can be associated with systemic diseases, including malignancies, and autoimmune and autoinflammatory disorders. Histopathological examination of the lesions is integral to the diagnosis of these cutaneous or subcutaneous inflammatory conditions. Treatment includes management of the associated systemic disease, in conjunction with a range of anti-inflammatory and immune-modulatory therapies.
