Abstract
The mother of a 6-year-old girl noticed that her daughter was ‘walking funny’ when she picked her up from school. That evening, the child did not want to eat her dinner and fell asleep earlier than usual. She did not complain of any other symptoms. The next morning, the child was unable to get out of bed on her own and was quite unsteady. She had an episode of nocturnal enuresis after being dry overnight for 2 years. Her speech was dysarthric and she had difficulty brushing her teeth. She was not interested in eating and was very irritable. She was afebrile and did not have any rhinorrhea, vomiting, or diarrhea. She had not had any sick contacts.
