Abstract
Taman had come bearing brownies, and with a dainty voracity she consumed two whole ones while he put on one of her favorite movies starring Bing Crosby. The DVD player on her private television was well used. She’d watched “Road to Utopia” at least dozens of times. It was Alaska, the Skagway in particular, that was the lure – a familiar enough place, to her – and the gold mine, of course.
