Abstract

In the case of small IT projects the project managers are tempted to not make a planning in order to save time. However, establishing a schedule is necessary to successfully achieve a project. To provide planning assistance we propose a platform based on solving the planning problem modeled as a constraint satisfaction problem (CSP). Which should help project managers to analyze the project feasibility and to generate useful schedule with just few informations as input. We also allow managers to supervise the project progressing and regenerate the schedule if an adjustment is made or a change has occurred at any phase of the project life cycle. Two versions of this platform were implemented and we are working on the third.
