Abstract

With the appearance of Software as a service (SaaS), multi-tenancy data architecture has become a hot topic. Motivated by the success of multi-tenant applications, this Chapter introduces intelligent Web data management of a transparent data middleware to support multi-tenancy. This approach is transparent to the developers of cloud applications. Additionally, the analysis is discussed in detail. Finally, some expansion techniques such as extensibility, scalability and disaster recovery are introduced.
