Abstract
The volcanic events here described represent the main exposed sites of Early Cretaceous volcanism in central and eastern Argentina; one of them, in Sierra Chica of Córdoba (SCC), is of alkaline type, whereas the other is located in Misiones Province (MS) and forms part of the Paraná Magmatic Province, of tholeiitic nature.
