Abstract

In this chapter the two Spectro-Spatial Interferometry Testbeds in which I have been involved during my programme are presented: the FIRI laboratory testbed and WIIT, the Wide-field Imaging Interferometry Testbed. Both testbeds are intended to demonstrate the theory of Double Fourier Spatio-Spectral Interferometry or the application of a Fourier-transform spectrometer (FTS) to aperture synthesis interferometry which was presented in the previous chapter.
