Abstract
Good communication is the staple of a happy, healthy family. Chapter 8 reviews literature on family communication, effective communication techniques (including reflective listening), and a review of solution-focused communication approaches. The use of powerful questions and how asking a series of questions can help the client clarify or discover something new, provide a new insight, or evoke a clearer vision.
