Abstract
A major challenge of manufacturing enterprises is implementing the roadmap for a sustainability/sustainable development (S/SD) strategy. Introducing the procedures of implementation is not a simple task and requires confirmed steps. These steps for the S/SD roadmap in manufacturing enterprises are important not only to enable a quantitative estimate of the strategy of S/SD but also to determine requirements for components of these enterprises to survive. The main objectives addressed in this chapter are how to express and model the required steps and their components and how to introduce a new assessment framework for measuring S/SD from the lowest levels of aspects and dimensions up to industrial levels.
