Normalized Controlled Process Models and Controllers

Abstract

The design methodology outlined in Chap.  4 is applied to controlled processes represented by stable overdamped and inverse response models, and as well by integrating and unstable models. For control system performance analysis and controller tuning, it is convenient to work with dimensionless parameters to make it non dependent on the controlled process timescale and gain.
