Abstract

This chapter examines the nature of SCN reengineering projects and it proposes a methodology that can be followed in practice to structure, manage, and realize such projects. Its content cuts across all previous chapters, showing how all the pieces can be assembled together, but it also covers a number of system analysis and design tasks that were not addressed explicitly before.

Note that sales are not necessarily equal to demand, but true demand data is rarely available in practice.
