Abstract

The focus of this paper is on Russian-English identity resolution when English names of entities have been created by a transliteration or translation of Russian names. A new approach combining attribute-based identity resolution with the text analysis of publications attributed to these entities has been proposed. The dataset of the Open Archive of the Russian Academy of Sciences and digital library SpringerLink are used as test examples.
