Abstract

In the last chapter, I will return to some problems of interpretation in Wundt scholarship, contrasting the results of my investigation with previous accounts of Wundt’s psychological project. As a consequence, I will suggest a new chronological frame of reference for the interpretation of Wundt’s psychological thought. Finally, I will discuss some conceptual difficulties within Wundt’s system as well as his relevance for contemporary psychology.
