Abstract
The paper describes a process of implementing sustainable stormwater management in the Czech Republic, including motivations behind the process, the situation in stormwater management before the implementation, actions undertaken during the preparation of a national stormwater concept, obstacles and the current status of implementation. The first large scale pilot study is given as an example of the process and lessons learned are summarized in order to give the experience to other countries.
