Abstract

Throughout our journey, we’ve availed ourselves of wavelet-based tools to isolate image elements of different sizes into individual scale layers. As an example, MultiscaleLinearTransform let us smooth small-scale noise (Chap. 12) and sharpen larger-scale structures (Chap. 17).
