Abstract
The global postal industry finds itself in the midst of a disruptive transformation: one that was born of globalization, liberalization, and corporatization, was fueled by technological substitution, and is now being accelerated by the growth and proliferation of other new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), social media, and cognitive computing.
