Abstract
In this chapter Grzegorz Koneczniak analyzes and interprets empirically collected data on essays and theses, written by students at major Polish universities, in order to determine the presence of Alice Munro in the subjects explored in diploma projects at the BA, MA, and PhD levels. Similar to Professor Ronnie D. Carter’s enormous archive research into theses on English studies in Poland, Koneczniak extracts—from the online catalogues of Polish universities—data on diploma projects on Munro’s life and works. The scope of his research also includes essays and theses published on the website of the Polish Association for Canadian Studies.
