Abstract

During the deployment of western nation militaries, medical assets are frequently called upon to provide assistance to the host nation military teams. The utilization of these medical assets, however, is not always optimized due to numerous causes. A case study of challenges that face such medical and surgical teams provide details are listed here and are likely to become issues in future endeavors: Memorandum of Understanding, the sustainable results of Medical Civilian Action Programs (MEDCAPs), donations of near-expiration medical supplies, & religious-affiliated medical programs.
