Abstract

Microperimetry (fundus-guided perimetry) has been utilized to evaluate and monitor various types of macular diseases. The main advantage is its ability to correlate the morphologic changes to functional aspects of retinal sensitivity. Automated microperimetry has demonstrated a new role in monitoring the progression of various uveitides.
