Abstract
In this chapter, a brief account of Indian Statistical System and statistical education at various levels in India is provided. The role of technology for effective teaching and learning statistics at different levels is given. In the end, some suggestions and future strategies for improvement in statistics education in developing countries particularly in India are discussed.
