Abstract
The review of the status of the medical device sector in Mexico and its relationship or development support through mobile devices is the main objective of this research where the main objective is to determine the major players in the sector, success stories, frame regulatory or corporate governance of IT in the health sector, for the opportunity areas that allow redirect joint efforts of government, universities, private sector, foundations, associations and everyone involved in general. Was detected that Baja California has a fundamental role in the development and export of medical devices in the region but still not much with a representative level in mobile health oriented applications which creates an area of missed opportunity by the state and country. That is why it is necessary to explore a collaboration agreement with the main players and the agency will direct these efforts.
