Abstract

The chapter starts with a description of the project partners and region and then explains its aims and the roles of the stakeholders. The technical and social approaches adopted are also introduced, explaining why capacitors were selected for the technical intervention and how, in order to assure a smooth implementation process, farmers were organized into distribution transformer committees.
