Abstract

Quite often the extirpation of the cervical stump has become a complicate procedure. Until recently the vaginal surgical techniques was the gold standard for extirpation of the cervical stump. Sometimes adhesions and scarring on the intraabdominal surface of the stump make the procedure difficult. With the introduction of the Hohl adapter is now a surgical instrument available, which facilitates extirpation of cervical stump. Also, the closure of vessels and the release of adhesions is not a problem anymore.
