    For the definition of the flavour of a jet, see Chap. 5.

    In fact, the number of pile-up events in the MC is set to a very high value, in order to have the possibility to match it to a wide range of pile-up scenarios in data.

  3. 3.

    In MC, the true number of pile-up events, namely how many interactions, overlapped to the hard scattering, have been effectively simulated, is indeed available, while in data it is not.
