Abstract
Patients undergoing Lichtenstein inguinal hernia repair are at risk for groin pain due to technical errors at the time of hernia repair, mesh-related pain, recurrence, and (rarely) infection. Here we describe the clinical scenario of chronic pain due to technical error.
