Abstract
Microsoft is an American corporation with headquarters in Redmond, Washington. It has dominated the personal computer operating system market since the 1980s. Its best known products today are its Microsoft Windows suite of operating systems, its Microsoft Office suite of products and Internet Explorer. It also produces hardware such as the Xbox game console, tablets and mobile phones (following its acquisition of Nokia).
