Abstract

As a powerful experimental tool to examine local crystallographic and magnetic environments of Heusler alloy films, Mössbauer spectroscopy is introduced briefly in this section. This method, which is applicable easily when the alloy contains Fe or Sn as a constituent element, can give us unique information on the local degree of structural order, the magnetic stability at the interfaces, and so on.
