Abstract
Nuclear medicine plays an important role in the diagnosis and management of the most common endocrinopathies of pediatric age. This chapter summerizes significant advances in nuclear medicine techniques in the diagnostic algoritm of congenital hypothyroidism, toxic adenoma, primary hyperparathyroidism and congenital hyperinsulinism, with a special focus on the therapeutic approach of Graves’ disease in pediatric age.
