Abstract
The Integra® Titan™ Reverse Shoulder System was designed to complement the Titan™ Modular Shoulder System of implants. The systems are based off of a platform set of humeral stems that attach to either an anatomic or reverse body. This platform stem facilitates conversion from a primary to reverse shoulder arthroplasty without the need to remove a well-fixed humeral stem (Fig. 40.1). The primary stem is 90 mm in length and is smooth distally with proximal flutes for rotational control. There is a roughened surface for bone ingrowth about the proximal portion of the flutes. The stem is sized from 6 to 16 mm in 1-mm increments that allows a press fit into the humeral diaphysis. Smooth cemented stem options are also available in 90, 125, and 165 mm lengths.
