Abstract

The first time I met Manuel was in 1974 while I was a post-doc in Berkeley in the group of Dave Shirley. We, that is three graduate students and myself, had been rather successful for the previous couple of years doing photoemission using the first commercial photoelectron spectrometer with a monochromatized X-ray source.
