Abstract

Recently renewable sources are becoming a focal point of the forthcoming century, both politically & economically. Use of renewable energy source to a large scale is a cost problem. These problems are overruled by distributing generation which is based on the divide & conquer method. As a token of this most the industries & houses implement solar power for their own use. This is a good sign for the effective implementation of this paper. This paper presents a novel control technique using the selective harmonic compensation on four leg inverter with which the distribution grid is interconnected with the domestic houses. In spite of several controllers, the proposed augmented controller has its own reliability & quick response which relies on DSP based filtering. The selective harmonic compensation technique is most suitable for balanced network condition and in the case where rating power of active filter is maintained. This augmented based control technique with SHC is demonstrated extensively with MATLAB/Simulink simulation studies.
