Abstract
Paediatric vitrectomy is an excellent indication for 27G. Sutures are not necessary. The sclerotomies do not leak. The conjunctiva is not harmed and the postoperative recovery is fast. In the following chapter, the surgery for ROP and membrane peeling is described step by step.
