Abstract
Evaluation of academic progress is an important stage in academic activity. The educational program for training of future teachers at the Ural State Pedagogical University includes the course “Modern Tools for Academic Progress Evaluation”. Mastering this course the undergraduates become familiar with the theory and methodology for development and application of evaluation tools using computer technologies. The paper presents an attempt to integrate the contextual learning technology with WEB 2.0 (World Wide Web) and SaaS (Software as a Service) Internet technologies for training undergraduates in joint design and application of computer assisted tools for academic progress evaluation - educational tests, mind maps, memorization maps, etc.
