Abstract

Sleep problems are very common among children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Additionally, a considerable literature on the topic has emerged. These poor sleep habits can produce irritability, poor concentration and other difficulties. This chapter covers the various symptoms that constitute the disorder, prevalence and characteristics and the nature of the problem.
