Blessed Are Those Who Have Not Seen and Yet Have Believed

Abstract

A central tenet of faith of Christianity is to believe without having seen. Could the progress of science possibly make us see the splendor of god, without having to pass through belief? Might science show us the reality of divine atemporality and bring a completely different kind of rapture, rational rather than spontaneous? Might science ultimately be able to prove or disprove re-birth and Nirvana and move the metaphysical to the physical?
