Abstract
The issue of census undercounts in the U.S. Census is introduced and background information on the issue of census accuracy is provided. An overview of the contents of the book is provided along with a description of the intended audiences. Uses of census data are discussed to provide readers with a sense of the importance of Census undercounts.
